What exactly does WE Service Solar do?
WE Service Solar is security for your solar. Through remotely monitoring your system, we can identify issues within your solar system before they cause issues with your power, and cost you money.
Why do I need that?
A common misconception about solar power is that once its installed, you don't need to worry about it anymore. Think of your solar power system as a computer on your roof. We're your "tech support" that keeps your solar operating at 100%.
Why not go to my provider for repairs?
Maintenance fees can go sky high, as well as the potential for faulty repairs or installations. Or even worse, your provider has gone out of business. WE are here to keep costs low, issues to a minimum, and maintain your home's power even if your provider isn't around anymore.
I already have a warranty. Why would I need this?
Most of the systems that have warranties are just for parts under what is called a manufacturer's warranty. In general, manufacturer warranties do not cover the time or the labor needed to diagnose/identify the problem with the solar installation, to submit a warranty claim for a defective part, or to install the new part. All of that would come out of the pocket of the customer. Some installers, if they're still in business, offer warranties on the initial installation process itself but that generally only covers something if it wasn't installed correctly to begin with. WE Service Solar would cover all that in our monthly subscription.
What if my system is beyond repair?
The majority of issues we come across are simple equipment failures. These fixes are all taken care of in your subscription. If a large repair job does need to be done, we'll make sure you understand exactly why and how this process will be carried out, and offer a discount.
But do I really need this?
If you bought a brand new car, wouldn't you want to insure it? Even the best driver will be at risk on the road- just as the best solar systems are at risk due to exposure to the elements, and normal wear and tear. We are both insurance and roadside assistance.
What happens when I sign up?
Once you subscribe to our coverage, we will get you connected to our back end monitoring system, where we will run diagnostics on your system and keep track of any potential or active issues with your power.
Where is this service available?
We offer fully comprehensive service within our home state of Utah, and we are actively expanding to other areas as we speak.
